Black Einstein – Common Ground. Released 22nd August 2011

In our never ending efforts to bring you fantastic new music, whatever the genre, 25 Hour Convenience Store introduces producer, Mr Colin Emmanuel aka Black Einstein, With the release of his first Ep for 25 Hour Convenience Store. Inspired by David Bowie and entitled “What ever happened to Major Tom” the Ep features guest vocals from Xavier Barnett, Mystro, Miss Baby Sol and Maseo from De La Soul.
As an artist, his musical roots are firmly embedded in the old school of hip-hop, with a nod to the days of real lyrical flow. His approach to song writing,is inspired by the sound of “The Native Tongues”, citing The Jungle Brothers, Queen Latifah and Mark the 45 King amongst his influences. His approach to music is fresh, punchy and imaginative, in short he can considered an innovator in todays hip-hop scene.
